About Us

Stay Home Club began the summer of 2012 in Olivia Mew’s Montreal student apartment — a small experiment in making soft goods that felt personal, a little quirky, and unfailingly original.

Over the years it has grown into a tight-knit team of four and a global community of like-minded people who tend to be slightly neurotic, painfully self-aware, and who deeply appreciate the often-overlooked value of alone time. If that sounds familiar, you’re probably in the right place.

Our designs reflect that ethos: playfully self-deprecating, tongue-in-cheek, and full of unexpected details appearing in intricate screen-printed designs, embroidered accessories, and illustrated goods that invite a smirk. Some pieces are an homage to the rich history of art and craft, others depict frogs doing aerobics. You never know exactly what you're gonna get 🙃

Over the years, Stay Home Club has been featured in places like Real SimpleBUST, BuzzFeed, Alternative Press and Forbes - and spotted in shops and closets around the world. But our proudest accomplishment is the community that’s grown alongside us: thoughtful, funny, self-aware humans who cherish originality without pretence.
